2025 – 2026:

Dear Hull Garden Club Members,

As Year 2025-2026 begins, Mother Earth likes to awaken us with a heat wave.

The watering schedule not to be discouraged; this is part of what we love. The

excitement, Longfellow writes, “They silently inhale the clover scented gale and

vapors that arise from rain in the summer.” We are in the zone, wishing you all a

wonderful start to our new year.

I have to pinch myself when I see the beautiful Hull sign. I can’t believe we live in

this beautiful hidden gem. How amazing is the appearance of the Veterans War

Memorial? The islands, cemetery pots, Blue Star and Gold Star Mothers are

blooming in beauty.

The four hot spells did not discourage our watering schedule. The Butterflies

and Bees are continuing to dance and pollinate our gardens. It’s a new year!

Our members are so talented and creative. I am so grateful for all the

wonderful members who give so much of themselves. I look forward to the

important work we started in 2024 and 2025 as we continue to move forward; it

takes a village. It is so important to continue supporting nature for our future

generations.

The New Year is approaching; we continue to be proud wearing our green hats

and aprons, hearing the beeping car horns from our Hull community and

summer residents reaching out to support us.

In keeping with the Conservation Pledge adopted by the National Garden

Clubs, Inc., to protect and conserve the natural resources of the planet Earth

and promise to promote education so we may become caretakers of our air,

water, forest, land, and wildlife.

Sincerely,
