How to Join?

Attend Two Meetings: We invite you to attend two of our general meetings to experience the club firsthand, meet our members, and get a sense of our activities and community spirit.
- 2Decide to Join: After attending your second meeting, take some time to reflect. If you feel inspired and ready to become part of our club, we’d love to welcome you!
- 3Complete the Membership Application: Fill out our membership application form online (accessible below) for your convenience. This quick process helps us get to know you and officially brings you into the club.

Join Our Garden Family: Once your application is submitted and reviewed, we’ll confirm your membership. You’ll be partnered with an experienced member as part of our Root & Shoots New Member Mentoring Program to help you settle in, learn the ropes, and start participating fully.
Obligations and Membership Categories
Participate in Club Activities: Join in on general meetings, committee work, special projects, and leadership opportunities to make the most of your membership.
Engage in State & District Events: Broaden your involvement and represent the club by attending the state convention and district meetings.
Join the Root & Shoots Mentoring Program: New members will be partnered with an experienced member to get to know the club, its members, and activities.
Contribute to Monthly Meetings: Help make our gatherings special by serving as a hostess for refreshments or arranging a floral centerpiece at one meeting per year.
Active Membership
Dues: $30 / year
Join as an active member and become part of our vibrant community. Enjoy full participation in meetings, programs, and community projects, and contribute to the club’s ongoing growth and initiatives. Active members play a key role in shaping the club’s activities and mission.
Inactive Senior Membership
Eligibility: 10+ years of club membership, age 80+, or medically incapacitated.
For our long-standing members who have contributed significantly over the years but can no longer actively participate. This category honors their commitment while allowing them to stay connected to the club without active obligations.
Honorary Membership
Recognition by the Executive Board
Reserved for distinguished members who have served as elected officers and have made exceptional contributions to promoting the club’s mission. Honorary members are celebrated for their dedication and legacy within the Hull Garden Club.
